The grey is where people commonly place highlights, being a guy I don't want to change the colour of the rest of my hair, what products will colour the grey but not the rest of my hair? any suggestions?

Highlighting your hair may seem like a reasonable solution to your premature graying, but overall it is not going to solve your problem without causing problems of its own. When you highlight the hair you will either have to have it pulled through a frosting cap or "foiled" which doesn't require a cap, but the separation of individual hair strands for the application of bleach. Both techniques will provide you with beautiful highlights, but they require a great deal of maintenance. That maintenance requires that you see a stylist every 6 weeks to do touch-ups so that the highlights don't result in "roots", a line of demarcation that makes your coloring attempt obvious to everyone. My suggestion is for you to give haircolor a try. There is a product available called "Just for Men" and it will only involve 5 minutes of your time to work. This product is a semi-permanent haircolor, it contains no perioxide which means it will not change your natural color at all, it will simply coat the gray hairs and make them appear much more like highlights, closer to what your hair would naturally lighten if you spent a lot of time in the sun. This product does wash out gradually and will need to be reapplied every 6 weeks, but it won't produce any dramatic changes at all, so you won't have "roots" to deal with, ever. They also have formulas for your facial hair, if you have any that is becoming gray. definitely do blonde hightlights, they hide the grey really well. I have dark brown hair and it really works well to do highlights.

Also, if you don't want to color, see a salon for a color stick... its a cover up for your hair that matches the color and washes out when you shower.

Just go to any store to the hair colour section and pick a colour.. (no theres no diff between female %26amp; male hair dye.. no matter what the TV wants you to think.. in fact the "for men only" stuff is the crappier stuff..

Yould likely be better to just do a brown dye job overall though..

Get some light brown highlights. I personally think that blonde highlights in dark brown hair look really good, but if you don't like it I would say either light brown, or burgandy would look nice. Depends on your skin tone.

I would say different shades of brown like when hair get's highlighted naturally in the sun because that way it'll look really natural and great (not fake like some people's I know because they got the wrong colour and it's like orange! ew!). so go for that kind of colour. Maybe get some lowlights too. And ask the hairdresser, most hairdressers will chatter on about anything so it may as well be about hair. Ask her for tips and that, you should get some great advice! noo dont and if you so do it it will be hella breakage becasue anytime u add color lighter than your hair means ur putting bleach and porixide in it so i dont really recommend it and it will NOT grow back

If you put any bright colour in your hair just make sure that you bleach it first otherwise the colour will not work. I have had pink dtreaks through my hair before when it was dark brown and it looked really good. Purple and bright blue also look really good. It is a lot of upkeep though if you want them to look bright all of the time. I has redying the streaks every 2 weeks to keep them looking bright!

I would recommend shades of brown and plum. Those colors really bring out green eyes. You don't want the same color eye shadow as your eyes, you want a color that will really make your eyes stand out. Black/Brown liner works great with green eyes and a warm peachy color would work with your skin tone.

You can wear whatever color you like, really. If you wear black eyeliner, you're going for a stronger look, brown softer...

now to eyeshadows, I like to stay in the earth colors. I think browns go with anything. But it's really up to you and what you're wearing. Although, it's not a good idea to wear a bright blue shirt *hypothetically speaking* and bright blue eyeshadow.

brown eyeshadows tend to look VERY nice with green eyes and olive skin.

Blush should blend in to your skin so it looks like a natural blush/glow than you actually doing it.

I can't tell you exactly what color, but this is what I was taught.

For tan skin - go with redish pinks or darker shades -- light pinks don't show up and they end up looking fake

Light skin - pinks and softer tones, they tend to show up a little bit more naturally. dark will be very fake.

So when you go to the store put it up next to your cheecks and try to picture it on. Also, the new blush sticks that look like oversized lipsticks are AMAZING and they tend to have a more natural effect than the powder. You can find them at Avon and they last for like 6 months or more.

I would use black liquid eyeliner and black pencil eyeliner. You can use gray eyeshadows. If you go stronger eyeshadow tones keep the lipstick at minimum, just use lip gloss, and very little blush. Always remember that blush has to be lighter than your lipstick. Use black mascara, this should make your beautiful eyes stand out...
