Does this sound cute... i want a brownish hair color with darker tints in it any good ideas?

Dont do black. Black is very hard to get rid of. Try doing a dark brown. I do this all the time on my clients and they love it. Just get them thin like you said.

When the 2nd color is darker it's called "lowlights", and yeah, that sounds different... =) Might look really good.

Does sound cute! Just not black on light brown hair, only on darker brown hair. I went through a depressing phase of looking like a skunk!

umm, black's really hard to get out

so make sure u want it like that for a while

and you can maintain the roots if you want it that way

to get it out you'll have to either use hardcore bleach

or dye your whole hair black

i wouldn't suggest black lowlights...maybe a darker brown

or a lighter brown/blonde
